A quick introduction... Donald Barnum is a baritone from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania who is active in both the operatic and concert fields. Donald is presently a member of the Metropolitan Opera, but is also well known as a choral conductor, being the chorus master for the Schola Hebraeica, as well as having prepared the New York Jewish Choral Ensemble for concerts at Lincoln Center and the eastern United States, as well as their debut at Royal Festival Hall, London. Donald is presently Organist and Director of Music of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Brooklyn Heights, and active in the preservation of its 1880, thirty-six rank Odell tracker-action organ. Last fall, he released a CD called "In Perfect Peace—A Brooklyn Pastorale" which contains music recorded with the St. Charles Borromeo Choir and organ. Don is in his final year as Dean of the Brooklyn Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. For more information, please feel free to explore the links at left.
